Description Lee Trager 2005-03-14 19:55:10 UTC
After emerging the latest acroread 7 I tried firing it up. I get the error message "There was an error while loading the plug-in 'PPKLite.api'. The plug-in failed to initialize." PPKLite.api does exist in /opt/Acrobat7/Reader/intellinux/plug_ins. Acroread does continue to read my PDF files after clicking ok on this error message.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start acroread
Actual Results:
Program gives me the error "There was an error while loading the plug-in
'PPKLite.api'. The plug-in failed to initialize."

Comment 1 gentoo_lan 2005-03-14 20:40:25 UTC
The plugin depends on net-nds/openldap. This should be added to the dependency list for the ebuild.
Comment 2 Lee Trager 2005-03-14 22:17:07 UTC
Ya emerging net-nds/openldap seems to fix it.
Comment 3 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-15 11:26:30 UTC
thanks, fixed
