Description Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-14 02:27:18 UTC
It's come to our attention that we are offering stale perl module ebuilds for core perl modules. We need to have the lastest DB_File marked stable by all possible arch's so we can proceed to block older DB_File's from being emerged and overriding newer perl installs where the version of perl contains a newer version than the ebuild for DB_File. This is just the first of many bugs :) Following the closure of this bug older versions of DB_File will be marked as blocked according to the version of perl that they come with, ie. <1.809 will be blocked for <perl-5.8.5, <1.810 will be blocked for perl-5.8.6, etc.

Adding arm and s390 to this bug since all are listed in the keywords for perl.
