Description:   Opened: 2005-03-11 12:11 0000
In this post:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=6444485&forum_id=3236
you will find a tarball of new atlas release, including the following changes:
* Now reads FG-0.9.8 airport and navaid formats

 * Atlas now displays ILS localisers

 * Map has an off-screen rendering option (--headless) to avoid image
corruption due to overlaid windows and possibly allow maps greater than
screen resolution depending on graphics hardware and drivers [X-Windows
with fairly modern GLX only at present]

 * Map supports multiple scenery paths via FG_SCENERY or --fg-scenery= (only
 Map at present, not MapPS).

 * Atlas has --airport=ICAO startup option.

 * Bug fixes.

I use instead of 0.2.2 because FG_SCENERY can be overridden (when you download some scenery you don't want to mix with the official one). It is also working without problems on my amd64 box

0.3.0 ebuild working for me (based on rc1)

0.3.0 in itself works fine here. However, the new ebuild makes everything go in
/usr/games/lib/FlightGear/ where at first there is... nothing! The old system
installed in /usr/share/games/FlightGear, where all FlightGear files reside.

Don't know if this is intented, because on my system Atlas could not find
Flightgear data files (navaids and so). This attached ebuild is based on the
old system and works fine, but it does not use games.eclass variables

It works fine for me too (x86).

------- Comment #7 From Hal Engel 2006-01-06 15:59:07 0000 -------
+1 atlas 0.3.0 works fine on an amd64 machine. I could not get 0.2.2-r1 to
work correctly.
