According to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/unison-users/message/3518, 2.10.12 is stable. There should be an unison-2.10.12.ebuild for Gentoo. We have the chance to be ahead of the binary distributions. I just got an unison error message: Uncaught exception File "/var/tmp/portage/unison-2.10.2/work/unison-2.10.2/transport.ml", line 21, characters 6-12: Assertion failed. I had a single file that had "props" on the left side and "changed" on the right. I wanted to have the "changed" right version propagated to the left server. The patch to fix this, mentioned in http://groups.yahoo.com/group/unison-users/message/3200, is included in 2.10.12, so this proposed version bump would be a fix for my bug as well. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: If I experience the error once, trying again for the same pair of files reproduces the error. But I have no idea how to get it once in the first place. Workaround for my bug: copy file via ssh or something like this; afterwards will be "props" on both sides and unison will work.

According to http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/download/stable/latest/, it's 2.10.2 which should be stable... and 2.12.0 unstable. I will add the latest 2.12.2 as unstable.
