Hi, the pcsc-lite is a basic part of a project to coordinate the development of smart cards and applications under Linux. The purpose is to develop a set of compliant drivers, API's, and a resource manager for various smart cards and readers for the GNU environment. This package consists in a base deamon that brings a PC/SC Architecture to smartcard readers drivers and all the smartcard applications. I suggest sys-devel/pcsc-lite, and I'm attaching here the digest file, ebuild and ChangeLog. Cheers, Juan Salaverria

Is there a reason for three seperate paches? Looking at the ebuild, I am tempted to cat them all together into one file.... Also, I will be ~ masking it when adding it the the tree.
Here are some things I changed before commiting it: - patches put into one file - masked with ~arch Here is what remains to be done (by you, gentle gentooer): - patch pcscd file to remove rhstatus - not applicable here - test it and let me know that it actually works - i don't have such a reader
