Hi, this is my ebuild for katapult, something like Quicksilver for OS X. Have fun, Stephan

I think this bug can be closed. It is unlikely to be continued as the developer announced in http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=21149 and will most likely be superseded by a feature of kde4
Created an attachment (id=72427) [edit] katapult-0.2_p0.ebuild Not everybody thinks that Katapult is dead... Kubuntu developers picked it up where the original maintainer left it. Here's the version that's in the default install of Kubuntu 5.10.
Created an attachment (id=72428) [edit] katapult-9999.ebuild And here's the latest from kubuntupult development SVN.
Created an attachment (id=77410) [edit] kde-misc/katapult-0.3.1.ebuild This is the ebuild for the new version of katapult 0.3.1

wow - I didnt know it was so simple for an ebuild - am glad someone is packaging this up though! looking good!
oh, homepage should be http://www.thekatapult.org.uk/
Hm the test here is not right: I start it, then right click to configure and I get a segfault: #0 0x0000000000411116 in KatapultConfigDlg::addDisplaySettings (this=0x6bb9d0) at katapultconfigdlg.cpp:172 #1 0x0000000000411a78 in KatapultConfigDlg (this=0x6bb9d0, settings=0x63fcf0) at katapultconfigdlg.cpp:96 #2 0x000000000041055c in KatapultSettings::configure (this=0x63fcf0) at katapultsettings.cpp:128 #3 0x0000000000410624 in KatapultSettings::qt_invoke (this=0x63fcf0, _id=4, _o=0x7649fe79e030) at katapultsettings.moc:114 #4 0x0000357667d760d8 in QObject::activate_signal (this=0x6b31c0, clist=<value optimized out>, o=0x7649fe79e030) at qobject.cpp:2356

I also have the segfault problem, using katapult with kde3.5 and gcc-3.3.4
Works fine for me, using KDE 3.5.1 and GCC 3.4.5
emerge info would help to nail down where the problem lies. By the way I sent a cleanup patch (at least to drop a few cases) to Martin but haven't heard from him yet..
Flameeyes - where did you send the patch to?
Uh.. to your email address (took from here)... mez@ubuntu.com ..
i've added that patch to the bzr stuff... not too sure about the segfault thoguh - have you tried gcc 3.4on gentoo/
I'm about to make a point release for this - if you want to try to see if it still segfaults? I havent made any changes that do What arch are you trying to build on?
I'll take care of 0.3.1.1, seems working fine here this time :)
In portage.
Works great on x86, so ~x86 can be added.
