verilog 0.8.1 has been released: === Begin === Date: Sun, 13 Feb 2005 07:56:04 -0800 From: Stephen Williams <steve@icarus.com> Subject: gEDA-user: Icarus Verilog 0.8.1 To: geda-user@seul.org X-HELOcheck: OK: FQDN X-Original-To: geda-user@seul.org X-Enigmail-Version: 0.86.0.0 X-Enigmail-Supports: pgp-inline, pgp-mime X-To-Get-Off-This-List: mail majordomo@seul.org, body unsubscribe geda-user [-- PGP output follows (current time: Tue 15 Feb 2005 08:29:36 PM CET) --] gpg: Signature made Sun 13 Feb 2005 04:55:40 PM CET using DSA key ID CD9BDE29 gpg: Good signature from "Stephen Williams <steve@icarus.com>" gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature! gpg: There is no indication that the signature belongs to the owner. Unfortunately, the CVS 0.8 branch is not always accessible to users, and more then new users should be burdened with, so I've made a source tarball of 0.8.1. verilog-0.8.1 is a revision of the 0.8 branch that includes the fixes to 0.8 to date. Currently I only have the source tarball. I'm rather busy to make the usual packages, and the 0.8 packages seem to serve in general well enough. <ftp://ftp.icarus.com/pup/eda/verilog/v0.8/verilog-0.8.1.tar.gz> -- Steve Williams "The woods are lovely, dark and deep. steve at icarus.com But I have promises to keep, http://www.icarus.com and lines to code before I sleep, http://www.picturel.com And lines to code before I sleep." [-- END PGP SIGNED MESSAGE --] === End === Bumping the ebuild and replacing the SRC_URI line with this one suffices: SRC_URI="ftp://icarus.com/pub/eda/verilog/v${PV:0:3}/verilog-${PV}.tar.gz" I've only tested whether it compiles and successfully runs the test suite, though.
