According to this news entry simgear does not need Metakit and glut. This
affects simgear 0.3.6 and 0.3.8.

October 22, 2003: Version 0.3.4 released.

    * Removed Metakit, FlightGear no longer uses it.
    * Removed all glut dependencies from SimGear.

Builds fine on x86 without these.

Btw: media-libs/glut usage should be inspected because freeglut is the way to
go and there is even a virtual for that.
