Description Pupeno 2005-01-31 19:49:49 UTC
I'm attaching the ebuild for libffi-3.3.5, which is the one that goes with gcc 3.3.5. If you don't have this, when you try to upgrade to libffi-3 and gcc 3.3, it'll try to downgrade gcc3.3.5 to gcc 3.3.4.
This ebuild *solves* the problem.

Reproducible: Always

In CVS. I'm doing a version bump on libffi.

Your submitted ebuild had an incorrect header. please reference "/usr/portage/skel.ebuild" for an example on how to make an ebuild. also see the developer handbook docs available on the gentoo website.

*please keep in mind* that "out of gcc" libffi is going to soon be depreciated. This version bump is a hack, and fixes inter-dependency problems for at least users of stable x86 arch.

Please see Bug #73111, #71127, and as always, thanks for submitting!
