new version of xmame. doesn't look like anything that'll destroy gxmame again.
basic copy of ebuild didn't work, however. looks like it's trying to run a
basic "make" from the dir, which triggers a Makefile that seems to try to build
a win32 version (*chuckle*).

if it's an easy fix, I'll upload a new ebuild (still suck at making them).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

------- Comment #1 From Jason Oliveira 2005-01-19 01:17:30 0000 -------
Created an attachment (id=48922) [edit]
xmame 0.90 ebuild

added two whole lines that rm -f the bad Makefile and ln -s "makefile.unix
Makefile".

compiles fine after this.

------- Comment #2 From Thomas Beinicke 2005-01-22 05:34:19 0000 -------
I tried the ebuild from here because I cannot build xmame with opengl support.
I have opengl in my useflag but when the compiling process finishes I just have the x and sdl executable.
But I don't get a compile error (at least not that I noticed it)

Anyone got it compiled with opengl?

------- Comment #3 From Jason Oliveira 2005-01-22 12:34:56 0000 -------
Thomas: actually, the X11 executable now contains OpenGL, Glide, DGA, and XV.
Hans de Goede rewrote a large chunk of the rendering code, and merged many
separate binaries. I believe you have to switch between rendering modes with
alt + Insert/Home/PageUp/PageDown.

there's also a bunch of filters (Scale2x, etc) that are enabled with ctrl +
PageUp/PageDown

hope that helps.

version bumped in portage. Thanks for the bug report.
