Description Anthony Gorecki 2005-01-16 02:09:16 UTC
This package is missing a dependency on the set of kioslaves that will allow the program to access mail servers: "Could not start process pop3."
Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-16 03:27:56 UTC
Anthony: it's beta, masked and never ever system critical
Comment 2 Anthony Gorecki 2005-01-16 03:43:39 UTC
This is solved by emerge kde-base/kdebase-kioslaves, which provides the appropriate ioslaves. It would be helpful if there was a kdenetwork-kioslaves ebuild for this to match the others.
Comment 3 Simone Gotti (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-16 04:24:44 UTC
kmail is in kdepim. And there's kdepim-kioslaves but the pop3 slaves are provided by kdebase-kioslaves. I add it as an RDEPEND.
