Latest stable hostap-driver is hostap-0.2.5-r1 in gentoo and latest kernel is
2.6.10
. However, this 0.2.5 version of hostap doesn't work with kernel 2.6.10 and pci
cards (because of the updated pci subsystem in the kernel).
So a newer 0.3.x version of hostap needs to be marked as stable in order to
work with kernel 2.6.10
