Description Stefan Kamphausen 2005-01-06 01:47:06 UTC
Hi,

when trying to translate a large LaTeX-document to HTML I came across this error:

 --- error --- Can't find/open file `ecsx0800.tfm'

This file was to be found in the /var/cache/fonts directory. The solution that worked for me was to add the following lines to /usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf:

TEX4HTFONTSET=alias,iso8859
TEX4HTINPUTS=.;$TEXMF/tex4ht/base//;$TEXMF/tex4ht/ht-fonts/{$TEX4HTFONTSET}//
T4HTINPUTS=.;$TEXMF/tex4ht/base//

and run "texconfig rehash" afterwards.

Please note, that I don't provide steps to reproduce it since my LaTeX document is very large (>150 pages).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Sorry for the delay.

Fixed in tetex-3.0-r2 and tex4ht-20050406_p1623-r1
(they are not in stable yet, though). Thanks for the bug report.
