Copied over the ebuild and made a few changes:
-gDesklets changed the installation directory from /usr/share/gdesklets to /usr/lib/gdesklets, so I updated and added a few symlinks
-For desklet developers, a Developer's Book has been released, so I added "doc" to IUSE and dohtml those files if the user sets the "doc" USE flag
-Added some einfo regarding this addition
-Changed a newbin to a dosym

Attached is the diff from gdesklets-core-0.32.ebuild.

You can also remove the SWIG dependency as stated in the changelog.

New in release 0.33:
- SVG scripting capabilities and lots of other improvements in <canvas>
- Added menu option "View Source" for viewing the source of a display
- Removed deprecated part of libdesklets API (was deprecated for half a year)
- Added "color" property to <frame>
- Got rid of dependency on SWIG
- Installs in $PREFIX/lib instead of $PREFIX/share to be more standard conform
- Bug fixes

Works for the new gDesklets version 0.33.1 as well.

patch, rather than a whole ebuild.

i am unable to use the calender display since the last version.....is that
fixed here?
