Same problem here with my P4 HT, so the problem isn't amd64 specific ! :

------- Comment #2 From Mamoru KOMACHI (RETIRED) 2005-01-20 23:00:17 0000 -------
Do you still have problems building im-ja even when you
downgrade libtool to 1.5.2-r7?

------- Comment #3 From Boris Fersing 2005-01-21 05:56:37 0000 -------
I don't know, now I'm using the cvs version of im-ja (because I need it even
with gtk+-2.6)

All what I can say is that addind "autoreconf --install --force" before econf
in the ebuild fixes the problem !

Regards,

Boris

------- Comment #4 From Ulrich Plate (RETIRED) 2005-01-28 13:52:29 0000 -------
Adding `libtoolize --force --copy` above econf fixes this.
Cf. http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.gentoo.devel/23449

------- Comment #5 From Mamoru KOMACHI (RETIRED) 2005-02-04 22:37:18 0000 -------
Fixed in CVS (gtk+ 2.6 issue is also fixed).
Thanks for the bug report.
