Description:   Opened: 2004-12-19 06:49 0000
After libruby-static is updated with ranlib (see #61394) sqlite-ruby-2.2.2
compiles and works on OS X.

------- Comment #1 From Fabian Groffen 2005-08-21 11:56:32 0000 -------
Does not even start compilation for me:

>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking sqlite-ruby-2.2.3.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/sqlite-ruby-2.2.3/work
>>> Source unpacked.
checking for main() in -lsqlite... no
checking for sqlite.h... yes
checking for sqlite_open() in -lsqlite... no
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

!!! ERROR: dev-ruby/sqlite-ruby-2.2.3 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 28, Exitcode 2
!!! make failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

------- Comment #2 From Josip Dzolonga 2006-06-13 19:48:28 0000 -------
Fabian Groffen, which version of dev-db/sqlite do you have ? Maybe the version
specified in DEPEND has to more specific (currently =dev-db/sqlite-2*)

------- Comment #3 From Fabian Groffen 2006-06-14 00:45:51 0000 -------
maybe it works now, but I don't run progressive, so I just have Apple's
"installation" of SQLite.

------- Comment #4 From Fabian Groffen 2006-06-22 12:30:25 0000 -------
ok, nonsense going on here. sqlite2 compiles and installs fine, no collisions,
as Apple only provides sqlite3. Unmasked sqlite2 now.
Marked ~ppc-macos.
