Description Nathan Caldwell 2004-12-15 16:38:32 UTC
I'm not sure if this is a problem with libtool or with gtkspell, but i haven't had this problem before so i assume it's gtkspell. Here's the error message I get when I try to merge gtkspall-2.4.0-r1:

checking for i686-pc-linux-gnu-ar... i686-pc-linux-gnu-ar
checking for i686-pc-linux-gnu-ranlib... i686-pc-linux-gnu-ranlib
checking for i686-pc-linux-gnu-strip... i686-pc-linux-gnu-strip
checking for correct ltmain.sh version... no

*** Gentoo sanity check failed! ***
*** libtool.m4 and ltmain.sh have a version mismatch! ***
*** (libtool.m4 = 1.5.10, ltmain.sh = 1.4.3) ***

Please run:

  libtoolize --copy --force

if appropriate, please contact the maintainer of this
package (or your distribution) for help.

make: *** [config.status] Error 1

I'm using libtool-1.5.10-r1.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge gtkspell

Actual Results:
configure fails

Expected Results:
clean build
