Hi,
I wrote an ebuild for Parrot. Parrot is a virtual machine (vm) like Java (jvm).
It will be used for i.e Perl6 but also Python. This is the next generation.
However since Perl6 will take some more time to evolve this does not include a complete implementation of Perl. The installation process is not as good as it could be but that is due to the Makefiles.

I've corrected the ebuild to install in a more sane fashion - your version had
a lot going into ${ROOT}/, an all together bad thing (tm). Other than that,
thanks for the ebuild :) Should be hitting portage shortly.
