See summary. :)  Tested stable on AMD64.

I'd recommend altering the SRC_URI line from:
SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/extace/extace-1.8.11.tar.gz"
to
SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/${P}/${PN}.tar.gz"
so that a simple renaming of the ebuild provides the next version.

Oh.  Rereading this, I see that it should be:

SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/${PN}/${P}.tar.gz"

but you probably figured that out just by reading it.

In CVS. Portability update done on the old ebuild as well.
