logrotate config for squid Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

The cron script that gets installed with squid as it is should rotate the logs... What exactly is the purpose of this bug?
This is fo package logrotate. IMHO, logrotate is more smart than pure squid.
why "squid -k rotate" if you use copytruncate? and shouldn't be postrotate script shared between rotated files?
I've added support for logrotate. Basically, I've inserted a new USE flag (logrotate) which installs the logrotate.d file instead of the usual cron file.
forgot to mention... this bug has been fixed in www-proxy/squid-2.5.8-r1
