Description:   Opened: 2004-11-06 02:37 0000
When running 2 screens, and only the one window list which is located on one
screen, the window list will only show the apps present on that screen.

Patch to fix the bug:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=33177&action=view

This patch was obtained from:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154040

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a window list to a panel on only one screen
2. Open an application on the same screen as the panel
3. Now drag the app to the other screen

Actual Results:
The application disappeared from the window list.

Expected Results:
The application should have remained in the window list. If however there was a
window list on each screen, then the application should move from the window
list on the current screen to the one on the other screen.

Have you tried this patch, and can you verify it works? I don't think any of
the gnome team have dual-head systems to test this on, although we won't be
opposed to including it, if you can verify it works.

Attach it here as text/plain after you've tested.

Thanks.

The patch works for me, as well - with a tri-head setup using Xinerama.

I'm having this issue too.

Patche seems to fix it; Will it be included into portage any time soon?

------- Comment #8 From Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) 2004-12-28 20:26:03 0000 -------
Okay, I got a dual monitor setup to test this one and verified it. I've applied
the patch to a new revision, libwnck-2.8.1-r1 in CVS, which fixes the problem
for me, so please emerge sync, and emerge =libwnck-2.8.1-r1.

Thanks for your reports.
