Some changes since 11.1c are: Bumped up "MAX_VARS" to 500 Added modulus solving Changed univariate modulus simplification to multivariate, integer only simplification Also not noted in the change log is that the amount of memory used for holding equations has been upped to twice as much. Make sure to grab the stable tarbal: http://www.panix.com/~gesslein/mathomatic-11.4d.tgz Thanks! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Can I do anything to help move this along? Perhaps I could provide a patch for the latest makefile? BTW, latest stable is now 11.5 but no big changes between then and 11.4. http://www.panix.com/~gesslein/mathomatic-11.5.tgz
Created an attachment (id=48536) [edit] mathomatic-11.6d.ebuild Well, an updated ebuild for version 11.6d. Actually, my first ebuild so i can't promise it's really working (though it works fine for me). The original download for the source seems to be down, so i mirrored it on my university-account. I don't think this is the correct place to contribute this ebuild, but maybe somebody reads this and will move the ebuild to another place. Changes: There have been a lot. Read here: http://mathomatic.orgserve.de/changes.txt Have a nice day, Stefan

New version 11.7 is out
Created an attachment (id=49706) [edit] mathomatic-11.7.ebuild Updated ebuild. Bumping 11.1c is not enough - a patch had to be removed and workpath has changed. Greetings, Stefan
(From update of attachment 49706 [edit]) bugzilla failed to autodetect mime type .. grr
How long before 11.7 makes it into Portage? The upstream developer complained on another mailing list that the Gentoo version is too old, and it's masked to boot. I'd be willing to test it on x86; can't help you with other arches, though.
Well, I guess it would have happened sooner if the maintainer was member of the herd to which the package belongs and would have got a notification... in portage. Thomas, please check if this is ok for you.
