Description sven.panko@net-m.de 2004-10-25 09:17:12 UTC
The last entries of 1400x1050.cfg for theme gentoo are identical to those of 1600x1200.cfg, which results in a white rectangle being painted inside the console area of the framebuffer. This is probably caused by the coordinate "1581" which is greater than "1400" (the actual width of the screen).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge splashutils
2. create an initial ramdisk, using a resolution of 1400x1050 and theme gentoo
3. use the new initrd for bootup and check the results

Actual Results:
A white rectangle is drawn inside the console area.

Expected Results:
Showing no white rectangle where there has to be none :)

The box coordinates in 'gentoo' theme config files have been fixed in splashutils-0.9-rc1. There should be no more white rectangles :)
