vice-1.14-r1 didnt honour the gnome keyword correctly. this is fixed in these
.... i also fixed/added some other things, look in the changelog for details.

in addition there are some problems which i noticed on PPC:

- although it builds fine with gnome support enabled, the resulting binary
segfaults :( i'm not sure if thats caused by my system generally NOT using
"gnome" in its useflags. (i use vice with enabled gnome support on a x86 box
with another distro though, so it should work)
- the emulator segfaults when trying to save its options :(
- national language support doesnt seem to work

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

2.
3.

It looks like this fixed ebuild did not hit ~x86 so far. I think it should get
included in the official portagetree, as the current -r1 ebuild of course
breaks, if gnome is not in the useflags.

yes, that's why this bug hasn't been closed yet. It's not yet fixed.

(From update of attachment 51003 [edit])
renaming the 1.15.ebuild to 1.16-ebuild seems to suffice.
and while we're at it, I added ~amd64, since

1.16 I should say.

reopening this one...

emerging 1.16 with gnome ui enabled on my amd64 box gives me a non working binary, error is

(x64:18824): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hook_insert_sorted: assertion `hook->func != NULL' failed

i'm generally not using gnome (in favour of KDE) but even putting gnome in my useflags and doing a "emerge --deep --update --newuse world" didnt fix this one for me :/ the same happens on my ppc box btw, so its probably not arch related.
