may be the other patches of fedora may apply if you fix them by hand, because they are not reversed but fail. :( may I contact someone in future on IRC because this bugzilla way is so slow...
hm, i went to fast. may be ia64-lib64 is in already and relo fix is definetly in. But elfvsb and ldsoconf patches may be interesting.
you didnt include a reason why they should be included other than you simply wanting them. also, if that ia64 patch is already in, that's a -BUG-... our ia64 port does NOT use lib64!
i said _may be_ for that ia64 bug. that ld.so.conf problem is explained here: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=129340 for elfvsb i didnt find anything specific in changelog. if you look at that elfvsb patch. at the head it explains what it does: --- 2004-08-03 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> * ld-elfvsb/sh1.c (overriddenvar, shlib_overriddencall2): If !SHARED, move to... * ld-elfvsb/sh2.c: ... here. * ld-elfvsb/elfvsb.exp: Add -DSHARED to compiler options when building {sh[123],main}.c with $picflag. --- i do not really understand that. may be you. ;) PS: at the head of these patches - they are explained what they do!
you didnt answer my question, but the patches needed updating anyways. fixed in cvs, give it about 30 mins to reach mirrors.
hm, how should i answer so? just to improve for next time requesting something. :)
