Description:   Opened: 2004-10-08 14:13 0000
When I try to start up eclipse-3 I get the splash screen, then everything locks
up - the splash screen remains until I kill -9 it.

This problem did not occur with the 3.0.1-r0 ebuild, and reverting back to that
fixed the problem for me.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. run eclipse-3
2. ...
3. profit!

Actual Results:
The splash screen showed up, then an error box appeared and indicated that
eclipse wasn't going to work.

Expected Results:
Actually started properly

------- Comment #2 From Karl Trygve Kalleberg (RETIRED) 2004-10-09 13:19:56 0000 -------
There does indeed seem to be a lot of strange issues with 3.0.1-r1. I cannot
reproduce this exact problem, but also have a look at #66822.

------- Comment #3 From Karl Trygve Kalleberg (RETIRED) 2004-10-09 14:43:00 0000 -------
I think I have figured the problem. Please wait a few hours, then resync and
reinstall the 3.0.1-r1. Make sure you install the one from 2004/10/09 or later.

If the problem persists, please reopen this bug.
