bluepin don't launch under X11 when a pin is requested. Find enclosed a patch
to fix it.

correct bluepin in /usr/bin

With this patch it works..

there have been many iterations of this with people setting and unsetting this.
as far as i can tell, bluepin works fine on my desktop with x11-xorg without
modifications.

does it works with this patch too ? I know other people that doesn't work
without this patch.

I use xorg-x11-6.8-r1, g,ome 2.8, gtk+-2.4.9-r1

yes, it works fine without the patch. however, i vaguely remember it not
working a long time ago with much older version of bluez-utils. 

log in as your normal user, then as root on a virtual console (eg.
Ctrl+Alt+F[1-6] for a vc), try running this and paste the output:

/bin/ps -C X -C XFree86 --format args --no-headers 

needinfo. please reopen if you can provide more info

sponge root # /bin/ps -C X -C XFree86 --format args --no-headers

i've committed a proposed patch (can't rememebr which one now.) so hopefully
this should solve the problem.
