Description:   Opened: 2004-09-23 09:38 0000 
If dropbear is merged with useflag "static" set but "multicall" unset
it is linked dynamically.

If "static -multicall" does make sense the ebuild should compile dropbear
this way. Otherwise it should warn about this.
