groff-1.19 breaks with gcc-4.0:

glyphuni.cpp:40: error: non-local variable `<anonymous struct> glyph_to_unicode_list []' uses anonymous type
make[2]: *** [glyphuni.o] Error 1

1.19.1 does not give this error.

added to the tree. No changes to the ebuild needed.
