Please stabilize media-gfx/slic3r-1.1.7. Thanks.
I think if we were going to stabilize a slic3r it should be the latest upstream stable (1.2.9-r*). (Despite the fact that I and others personally consider the operation of 1.1.7 as being more in line with reality in terms of how you calibrate it, which is why 1.1.7 should remain in the tree even if its not stabilized)
Thanks Ian. I would nominally agree with your thinking, but I am trying to see if we can get a base set of 3D print utilities stabilised (even if old) to get the ball rolling, and demonstrate Gentoo to be a good platform for this upcoming technology. I myself am diving into the world of 3D-print, and have recently acquired my own printer, and hope to package Repetier for Gentoo in the coming months. Would you be amenable to simply CC the arches to trigger the stablebot. so that we know that the dep-tree is safe, perhaps, and this will serve you for the future anyhow?
Let's see what it says about both? No reason not to stabilize both of them anyhow..

Dropping to just 1.1.7 since 1.2.9-r2 doesn't pass sanity checks.
An automated check of this bug succeeded - the previous repoman errors are now resolved.
