using pi-nredir to sync with USB fails.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.EXPORT_PILOTRATE=115200
2.pi-nredir

Actual Results:  
fails in the middle of a sync. pilot-link bug web site has a patch but we need 
it in the ebuild. 

Expected Results:  
net sync completes without disconnecting.
