Description:   Opened: 2004-08-30 20:01 0000
gpilotd does not recognize the palm Zire 31. There is no feedback, it simply
fails to sync.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gnome-pilot
2. set to use usb (ln -s /dev/usb/tts/1 /dev/pilot)
3. press hotsync on Zire 31

Actual Results:
Nothing. Sync times out on Zire 31

Expected Results:
It should correctly sync.

Will post a patch that fixed my system.

Created an attachment (id=38556) [edit]
This patch enables the Zire 31 to be correctly detected.

I inserted this patch after the treo300 patch that is currently in the ebuild,
and rebuilt. My palm now correctly syncs.

------- Comment #2 From Alastair Tse (RETIRED) 2004-09-21 17:21:58 0000 -------
added supprot for zire31 to 2.0.12, in time, i should bump this upstream.
