Description:   Opened: 2004-08-28 10:21 0000 
plextor-tool is nothing else as a cdspeed-utility for Plextor CD-ROMs. I'd like
to include it only because cdspeed doesn't do it's job on my Plextor PX-32TS
correctly.

I'd suggest the same category as used for cdspeed: app-misc

NOTE: plextor-tool does include a GNOME plextor-tool-applet, but I left it out
intentionally in this ebuild as I wanted the command line version only (as a
substitute for cdspeed). If someone wants it, I suggest a seperate ebuild for
the GNOME applet (which may depend on this ebuild, if required).

Stable on my x86 system.

Just a little enhancement.

1) I wanted CFLAGS (from make.conf) to be used for compilation. Turned out to
be not so easy (I copied from cdspeed-0.3.ebuild), only that $E_CFLAGS is empty
(?!?) - as $CFLAGS contains what I want I had to set $E_CFLAGS and export it
prior make. I think, there is a better way.

2) New: symlink pxspeed points to plextor-tool

cleaned up, added support for static/gnome, and added to cvs
