Description caspar-gentoo-bugs 2004-08-09 16:43:29 UTC
I use:
   freshclam / ClamAV version 0.75

If I use the Checks option within /etc/freshclam.conf, it does not have an effect for /etc/conf.d/clamd sets # of updates via command line option -c

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Checks 12 in /etc/freshclam.conf
2. Set -c 2 in /etc/conf.d/clamd
3. Compare # of updates in /var/log/clam-update.log
Actual Results:
The entry in /etc/freshclam.conf is ignored

Expected Results:
It's two different places to configure one program. Either use one or the other
method, this way it's confusing at least.
