kdepim-runtime-16.08.1 (masked in profiles/packages.mask) is missing a dependency on kde-apps/syndication and fails to emerge:

Manually adding the dependency to the ebuild results in successful emerge.

Thanks for the report, the bogus dependency was removed from kde-apps/kdepim-runtime-16.08.2 and upstream.
