I updated the /etc/bash/bashrc of bash 3 to match the old PS1 for root (which i REALLY like). At least for me its red again :) And i would like to see it in portage again (or hear a reason why it's gone).

Fixed in portage, but I didn't bump the revision since I anticipate more bash fixes to come.  Sorry about that, it was my mistake.
