Description:   Opened: 2004-08-06 15:33 0000 
When compiling amule, the configure script complains about gdlib
(media-libs/gd) missing. The build continues nonetheless, even though a warning
appears about limited functionality regarding some icon or something working
only in textmode.

Anyway, isn't the ebuild supposed to consider media-libs/gd a dependency?

while gd is required for the "stats" USE flag, it should be optional for the
regular frontend as well. The gd USE flag has been added to the amule ebuild in
case you would like to take advantage of that extra icon stuff and still don't
want stats enabled ;).
