missing its own icon Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
could you please explain what icon you think is missing and what version of audacity you are referring to? The GUI on my Audacity (1.2.1) does not seem to lack any icons.
Im using gnome 2.6.2 And no icon is showing up in the menu. Im using audacity 1.2.1. Its in the gnome menu the icon is missing.
gnome team, could you please have a look at this one?
well, what does the menu .desktop file refer to as icon (right click->properties) & does it exist ?
Im not sure if its this you are aking for, right-clicked on the icon in the menu under multimedia, audacity(text only) settings->icon-> "/usr/share/pixmaps"
does the dialog show an icon & does audacity provide that icon ?
When I start audacity from the menu(no icon only text) I can see an icon In the upperleft of the program dialog.
no, go trough the steps i said. The dialog for editing the .desktop should have an icon button, does that button show anything & does the path it refers to exists & does the icon it refers to exist and does it get installed by audacity ? reassigning back to sound, this is all really easy to check out but i don't have the time to do it now.
Hmmm, .desktop? Maybe its easy if you have done it before ;-) I tryed this, applications://Multimedia Found the audacity file, clicked settings on it, its not pointing on any icon as I can see. No icon under settings only gnomes stnadard no icon icon :-) Hope this is what you need.
fixed in 1.2.2
