I have a couple of very similar systems where one is a "development" box and the other is a "reference". The ref box uses binary packages built on the dev box. The dev box has wxGTK installed, which pulls in glu. The ref box doesn't. It does, however, have fltk. The binary package installs fine because both systems have the same use flags. However, the fltk binary references libglu, which the ref system doesn't have. It seems the fltk build (which, incidentally, still has configure.in) checks for libglu and uses it if present, but the ebuild has no check for this. This is harmless for most people but breaks use of binpkg under the conditions described above. Reproducible: Always
Fixed. Thanks.
