Description Evgeny Stambulchik 2004-07-29 08:51:46 UTC
Please restore the original XTerm-color app-defaults settings. Recent changes, blue->SteelBlue1 and blue3->DodgerBlue1, cause eye strain for default (white) background. If someone likes experimenting with funky color schemes, he/she may do so in private .Xdefaults without imposing an inconvenience on the rest.

Thanks.

actually, the redefinition of those colours didn't seem to have an effect. You could, however, try xterm-193 -- the colours seem to have normalised there.

any luck with later versions of xterm, evgeny?

Well, tried xterm-194. Better than -191, but I still prefer the original colors. Maybe only because I'm used to the old scheme, having used it for ~10 years...

fixed in 196, please reopen if you're still not satisfied
