unfortunately, 5.18.6+ introduced guile-2+ funcs. it seems like an oversight (as the code tries to support guile-1.8), so filed a bug upstream to handle it.
Or we could finally jump the gap and bump guile to a not totally outdated version. Bug #355355 was opened in 2011(!) and we still don't have a somewhat recent version of guile in the tree.
(In reply to Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) from comment #2) i have 0 interest in anything lisp related :)
=dev-scheme/guile-2.0.12 has entered the tree. Can we now get the version bump?
i've added 5.18.10 now requiring guile-2.0+. not great, but until upstream moves, not much we can do about it (unless someone wants to figure out the lisp). https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=952ab0871242df092b18ae5ab133a93c3fbd36ff
