MXML now going to be required by a package in portage (ZynAddSubFX 2.x, see bug 57801). minimal XML for C, webpage http://mxml.sourceforge.net/ i'm terrible at creating new ebuilds, i leave this task to someone more apt.
this is not a sound package...
not really my cup of tea .. bug-wranglers, maybe assign to some doc people?
how hard can it be? take 10 minutes and submit an ebuild oh but wait, there's more! there's 2 mxml libraries: http://mxml.sourceforge.net/ http://www.easysw.com/~mike/mxml/ which one does ZynAddSubFX require? I don't know. I lack the concentration required to create an ebuild from scratch, my only talent is modifying what's already there.
Zyn requires Mini-XML.
Created attachment 36841 [details] /usr/local/portage/dev-libs/mini-xml/mini-xml-2.0.0.ebuild shamelessly copied+modified libxml2 ebuild. took me 2 minutes. it's ugly. it works for me.
fine, i'll do it myself. sort of.
since nobody wants to deal with it...
it's going to be necessary for zynaddsubfx 2.0.0 final, re-opening.
ZynAddSubFx 2.0.0 requires this library. Please get this committed.
Created attachment 39105 [details] v2, dev-libs/mini-xml/mini-xml-2.0.0.ebuild made a little more proper. ready for inclusion in gentoo portage
Created attachment 39726 [details] minor update/rename: dev-libs/mini-xml/mini-xml-2.0.ebuild fixes the writing to the "read only" PV and P vars. tested, working on x86.
Added to portage cvs. Thanks for your submission!
