Hi! I upgraded to the most recent versions of icu and libreoffice-bin because of the stabilization of poppler-0.42. I'm not sure how you got your system into that state, but you need newest icu too...

I have partially solved the problem: I removed icu and the libraries left on. Then I installed icu again, did some rebuilds, and everything went fine. No more preserved libs. However, when I want to run libreoffice, it does not happen because still needs the icu 55 libs, being the 57 installed.
For whatever silly reason LO got compiled against icu-55 on amd64. :/
This is fixed in libreoffice-bin-5.1.2.2-r1
