amd64 stable
(In reply to Agostino Sarubbo from comment #2) > amd64 stable ??? [blocks B ] <app-antivirus/clamav-0.99 ("<app-antivirus/clamav-0.99" is _hard_ blocking app-antivirus/clamav-0.99) # grep "\!\!" clamav-0.99.2.ebuild !!<app-antivirus/clamav-0.99" # equery list -p app-antivirus/clamav [IP-] [ ] app-antivirus/clamav-0.98.7:0 [-P-] [ ~] app-antivirus/clamav-0.98.7-r1:0 [-P-] [ ] app-antivirus/clamav-0.99:0 [-P-] [ ~] app-antivirus/clamav-0.99.1:0 [-P-] [ ~] app-antivirus/clamav-0.99.2:0
Found https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=567680#c5 ff. comment #9 : "added !!<app-antivirus/clamav-0.99 dep for now to _avoid problems_ of people upgrading" ... some hint (cross-reference) would have been nice, indeed ...
Indeed!
You are of course correct that some explaination would've been in order here. Sorry for just noticing the comments on here late. I'm not entirely sure if there's a function to add it to (pkg_setup() or src_prepare() maybe - not sure if any of it gets executed before the dep error) - Gonna have a look later on my dev-box when I'm home.
I just commited the pcre dep + a note about the hardblock in the ebuild for now If possible please continue stabilization (the ebuild only has an extra dep and a comment line added)
Stable on alpha.

is there any problem on ia64 / sparc or just lack of time to check?
