Hello,the samba ebuild has a bug where it seems to try and write to a wrong logging dir:[2002/02/07 11:17:28, 0] lib/debug.c:reopen_logs(337)  Unable to open new log file /usr/local/samba/var/log.leon: No such file or directoryMaarten

dude -

you have your smb.conf messed up.  --enable-syslog is being used in 
other distros too.. this is not a gentoo bug.
