Description * 2016-01-28 06:09:49 UTC
My system is OS X El Capitan (10.11.3).
I'm using the latest bootstrap-prefix.sh (as I write, PV=20160124).
Seems like it's segfaulting somewhere above line 3595:

1.	<eof> parser at end of file
2.	/opt/gentoo/usr/bin/../include/c++/v1/tuple:872:1: instantiating function definition 'make_tuple'
x86_64-apple-darwin15-clang-3.5.2: error: unable to execute command: Segmentation fault: 11
x86_64-apple-darwin15-clang-3.5.2: error: clang frontend command failed due to signal (use -v to see invocation)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -v --oneshot =sys-devel/llvm-3.5.2

I'm trying to work around this by avoiding 3.5.2, but pkgconfig seems to act up now
Comment 3 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2016-02-04 11:20:29 UTC
Ok, llvm-3.5.0 has the same problem (segfaults compiling 3.5.2)
Comment 4 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2016-02-11 08:37:08 UTC
I found the cause for this, it's the libcxx version being used. It needs to match the llvm version, or else...

I'm committing the dependencies to the llvm ebuilds right now.

currently testing with a bootstrap that my fix was sufficient to get this working
Comment 6 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2016-02-13 09:40:46 UTC
This seems to have been fixed by the added deps
