trivial patch to pf-sources-4.2_p3.ebuild to use new https:// urls. Rename to pf-sources-4.3_p1.ebuild to use latest 4.3 patch.

pf source patch for 4.3 has been available for a few weeks. I put together an ebuild (essentially renaming the existing pf-sources-4.2_p3.ebuild to pf-sources-4.3_p1) and it worked. Kernel looks good.

I did note that http://pf.natalenko.name/sources/xxx is now being redirected to https://, so recommend updating the PF_URI and HOMEPAGE variables accordingly.

pf is already at 4.3_p3

Please bump the version.

Also, Olexandr killed forum and put up news reel:
https://pf.natalenko.name/news/
where he asks "Gentoo people (Markos Chandras? Alex Alexander?)" to contact him.

So please do. :)

it is 4.3_pf4 now...
Comment 3 Jean-Michel Smith 2016-01-19 21:18:33 UTC
Now 4.4_p1 is available

Does the maintainer of the package pf-sources decide to stop supporting it? The latest version of pf-sources in portage is 4.2_p3. However, the upstream has already provide 4.4_p2.

I would be glad to hear Arch Linux pf-kernel AUR package and binaries maintainers (nous? Thaodan? felixonmars?) as well as Gentoo people (Markos Chandras? Alex Alexander?) to find out whether they are going to keep supporting PKGBUILDs/ebuilds/binary builds for their favorite (and mine one — Arch) distros. Please, guys, contact me via email, so I could provide up-to-date links on main pf-kernel site. I really enjoy the fact that community of 2 big geek distros has adopted pf-kernel for general usage.

But still no progress here.

I will take care of it but we obviously need an additional maintainer for that.

Markos, thank you!
Could you please also add ebuild for 4.3_p4 version of pf-kernel (so all consequtive versions of pf-kernel are present in th main tree)?

Hi,

Yes. But this bug is closed so please do not add new comments here. Either open a new one or wait for me to find some time to add the new ebuild
