Description:   Opened: 2004-07-08 16:21 0000
3.8.3-r1 has a bad libtool (missing the C++ tag support), so it uses gcc
instead of g++ to link the C++ libs and thus misses the libstdc++ linkage.

Please test -r2 on your arch and mark it stable to fix this QA issue. Nothing
else has changed except for libtoolize, aclocal, automake, autoconf being run.
