I don't know if this one can be considered for ALLARCHES due to the QT qui aspect, but the code is otherwise all python.

Re-adding AMD64, PPC, and x86 teams.

app-portage/elogviewer-2.6 has a dependency issue with PyQt5 installed (See bug 567110). If PyQt5 is installed, it needs to installed with the correct USE flags.

The only way that this could be enforced was through the use of blockers that have been added to the -r1 ebuild. We need users to reinstall with the correct dependencies so that if they install PyQt5 after elogviewer, they don't break it.

Please mark app-portage/elogviewer-2.6-r1 stable. There are no code changes in elogviewer, the changes are only the dependencies in the ebuild.

I have tested the change on my unstable system and it works correctly. As such, once this is tested by a separate developer on a stable system, it probably can be marked stable for the 3 architectures at the same time.

I swear, I pushed the buttons. Actually re-adding the AMD64, PPC, and x86 arch teams.

Arch teams, please see comment #5

This request cannot be completed because of the following repoman error(s):

  dependency.bad [fatal] 14
   app-portage/elogviewer/elogviewer-2.6-r1.ebuild: DEPEND: sparc(default/linux/sparc/13.0)
[
'dev-python/PyQt5[gui,widgets,python_targets_python2_7(-)?,python_targets_python3_3(-)?,python_targets_python3_4(-)?,-python_single_target_python2_7(-),-python_single_target_python3_3(-),-python_single_target_python3_4(-)]']

Since the sparc team is unable to continue this task, I'm removing the sparc arch team from the CC field. Feel free to cc the sparc arch team again when you provide the complete list of the missing dependencies.
Comment 11 Paul Varner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-01-12 19:16:33 UTC
Looks like none of the Qt dependencies are stable on Sparc, so leaving Sparc as an unstable arch and closing bug.
