we didn't have a tracker for this as breakage was pretty rare (not sure if i saw any actually)
amd64 stable
AFAICT HPPA lacks some required patches in 2.21.
(In reply to Jeroen Roovers from comment #2) there are no known regressions on hppa. if you know of something, file a bug to block this one.
Stable for PPC64.
x86 stable
ppc stable
Stable for HPPA.
sparc stable
arm stable
alpha stable
For ia64 I think this bug : 503838 , will effect stabilization. Indeed I can't emerge sys-libs/glibc-2.21-r1 on my ia64 box.
(In reply to Brendan Horan from comment #11) that doesn't make sense. the stable version of gcc builds the stable version of glibc fine.

Maybe I am confused but the stable version of GCC on ia64 is 4.7.4, the stable version of glibc on ia64 is 2.12-r1 Refs : https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sys-libs/glibc https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sys-devel/gcc ^ Am i reading that wrong. If I am right then my ia64 box with GCC-4.7.4 can not build glibc-2.21-r1
> stable version of glibc on ia64 is 2.12-r1 typo.. 2.21-r1
(In reply to Brendan Horan from comment #13) bug 503838 is about gcc-4.8+ which has been verified. i'm using gcc-4.7+glibc-2.21 just fine on ia64.
